Bad Gastein 2023. 12-year-old KARLI discovers that he can travel in time in his parents' hotel, directly via a secret storey that leads him to the year 1938. He becomes friends with the Jewish girl HANNAH and the shoeshine boy GEORG. Together they solve an exciting criminal case and KARLI realises what shadow lies over the world of his new friends.
